Prepectoral Breast Reconstruction Before & After Pictures of Patient 117Back
44-year-old female came to see Dr. Piazza at his Austin plastic surgery practice to learn about breast reconstruction techniques after receiving the diagnosis of left breast cancer. She had very large breasts and desired to preserve what breast tissue she did have- including her nipple-areola complex. Based her tumor size, type and location in the left breast, Dr. Piazza worked with her breast cancer surgeon to perform an Oncoplastic surgical procedure to remove the tumor and reshape the breasts. He designed her operation as if she was having a breast reduction in Austin, removing the tumor in a breast reduction pattern. This allowed him to reshape her breast tissue, preserve the nipple-areola complex to give her an aesthetic result. She is seen here 3 months after having her procedure. She is happy with her results and even happier that her cancer treatment was complete with this one surgical procedure.
