This 28-year-old woman wanted larger breasts but was most concerned with the scars associated with breast augmentation. At his Austin practice, Dr. Piazza uses a dedicated scar protocol to help scars heal well. When a patient chooses to have a breast augmentation performed through an inframammary fold incision, Dr. Piazza makes sure that he places this directly in the fold so that it's difficult to see.
Dr. Piazza performed a subpectoral breast augmentation using silicone gel implants through an inframammary fold incision. He used the Keller Funnel to keep her incision just under 3.5 centimeters long. She has been using Dr. Piazza's scar protocol and is seen here 6 weeks after surgery.
