This 45-year-old mother of two came to see Dr. Piazza for a breast lift and reduction in Austin.  She was concerned about the appearance of her breasts and felt that they were too large for her body.  She had been struggling with long-standing upper back, neck and shoulder discomfort.  She had recently had a significant weight loss but felt that her breasts were still heavy and contributing to her discomfort.  She elected to undergo a short-scar breast reduction procedure reducing the breast volume while repositioning her breast tissue and lifting the nipple-areola.  Surgery took about 3.5 hours.  She is seen her 8 weeks after her procedure and notices relief of upper back, neck and shoulder discomfort.
