Would You Try to Push a Water Balloon through a Buttonhole?

What is a Keller Funnel™ anyway? It is a cone-shaped, nylon device that allows me to use a no-touch delivery technique, which is believed to reduce capsular contracture, a painful complication associated with breast augmentation procedures. When I perform a breast augmentation in Austin, I want to minimize trauma to the breast implant when I am placing this in the breast.  The best way to do this gently with great care is to use the Keller Funnel™.  The funnel has a special interior coating that creates a super slick surface.  Once the Funnel tip is placed through the incision, I am able to quickly propel the implant gently into place with minimal force, bypassing the implant’s contact with the skin.

This video clip is from The Doctors TV Show and demonstrates how the Keller Funnel™ works.  If you have any questions about the types of breast implants I use in Austin, please call us at our Austin plastic surgery office at (512) 288-8200 or contact us via email.  You can also sign up for our monthly newsletter on our “news” page.
