Samantha LeBlanc, Director of Patient Services
Samantha LeBlanc is our director of patient services. She is a licensed cosmetologist and believes skin care starts from the inside out. She has been in the skincare industry for more than 20 years.
After Samantha graduated from high school, she joined the Army Reserve, where she was away at basic training and specialty school for 6 months before graduating with honors.
She then traveled to Europe and began working in the United Kingdom at high-end salons styling hair and makeup for magazine publications. Her true passion for skin care was ignited after she moved back to the U.S. and began working with world-renowned dermatologist Dr. Howard Murad in California. Working for more than a decade at Murad Skin Research, she was on the front line of education, research, and development with regard to the latest products and services in the skincare industry. This enabled her to travel across the globe in an international position with the company. It was after a short visit to Austin she knew it was the place she wanted to call home.
Samantha specializes in chemical peels and treatment facials, and she is an advocate of using retinols, growth factors, and sunscreens to maintain a healthy environment for the skin.
Samantha and her husband love to stay active and are enjoying every second raising their daughter, CoCo.
Megan Riely, Surgical Care Coordinator
Megan Riely began her career in the aesthetic industry in 2008 in Maryland as a Licensed Aesthetician. She moved to Houston, TX in 2012 where she began working as the Care Coordinator for a plastic surgeon. Her passion for the industry grew. Megan realized her work in the aesthetic industry was not only a passion, but a career path she needed to follow. She was able to impact others' lives in a very positive way. There is nothing more gratifying to Megan then helping a patient realize their esthetic goals by escorting them through their journey.
Megan strongly believes in the "all-over wellness" of each patient. It is not only important to be beautiful and take care of yourself on the outside, but just as important to do so internally. She believes it is a part of her job and commitment to each patient to help guide them through that process.
In the summer of 2015, Megan moved to Austin and joined The Piazza Center. She couldn't be happier and now feels she has found her forever home. She enjoys taking advantage of all what Austin has to offer – hiking, biking around downtown where she currently lives, and taking her two dogs to all the dog parks in town.
Jennifer Schechter, Medical Aesthetician
Jennifer Schechter is a Medical Aesthetician at The Piazza Center. She is a licensed aesthetician who loves to treat the skin and create a pleasant experience for her clients. Jennifer brings a fresh perspective to the skin care industry and a wealth of knowledge from her observing her mother, an outstanding provider in the industry for many years.
Jennifer was born and raised in Austin growing up in the beauty industry. She feels strongly that she was born to practice as a medical aesthetician. Her mother taught her that there is beauty in everyone. This belief inspired Jennifer to learn more about makeup, which, in turn, was the motivation for her to learn more about the skin and how it works.
Her wealth of experience comes from the opportunity to shadow her mother which allowed her to receive extensive training in facial aesthetics. Her mother instilled in her the belief that she can become the best she can be in her career as a skin care expert. She finds a lot of joy in being able to bring out a beautiful smile in each of her clients. Framing the face with eyebrow shaping is a skill set that is her specialty. Jennifer also specializes in dermaplaning, chemical peels, and treatment facials. Her philosophy: help her clients achieve their individual goals by completing the necessary treatments one step at a time and one treatment area at a time.
