Case Details
This young woman met with Dr. Piazza to discuss her options for breast implants at our Austin, TX practice. She had always been very self-conscious about her small breasts. She was looking for a permanent breast enhancement instead of continuing to wear padded "bombshell bras." Like most of our patients, she felt it was very important to achieve a shape that would not only look fuller, but also maintain a very natural appearance that would balance well with her figure. She met with Dr. Piazza and his care coordinator for an in-office consultation. During her one-on-one meeting with Dr. Piazza, he explained the different breast implant types available, as well as the different incisions that can be used in breast augmentation surgery. They agreed on a surgical plan to meet her sizing goals. Dr. Piazza felt this patient would do best with the shaped "gummy bear" silicone implants, placed through an under-the-breast (inframammary) incision and under the muscles for the most natural appearance. As you can see, this young woman has healed very well and is extremely pleased with her natural-looking breast size. She is more confident and feels her breasts now flatter her figure beautifully.
