Case Details
This 24-year-old came to see Dr. Piazza to discuss a breast augmentation procedure. She scheduled a consultation with Dr. Piazza to learn about breast implants to enhance the size and shape of her breasts. She was tired of wearing the “miracle bra” which gave her the volume and shape she so desired. This patient was looking to have an augmentation to create a similar appearance without having to wear such a thick and uncomfortable bra. During her one-on-one consultation with Dr. Piazza, they were able to select the best implant that would deliver the results she had in mind. The examination was followed by more discussion in Dr. Piazza’s consultation room. She was also able to look at and feel a variety of different implants, and to compare different sizes. Dr. Piazza explained the differences between saline, silicone, round, and anatomical implants. After about an hour in consultation Dr. Piazza felt a round silicone gel breast implant would complement her figure and help her achieve the fuller appearance she was looking for. Dr. Piazza performed her breast augmentation at Stonegate Surgery Center, a fully accredited surgical facility here in Austin.
