Case Details
This 53-year-old career woman and mother of two came to see Dr. Piazza to discuss a breast augmentation procedure. She scheduled a consultation with Dr. Piazza to learn about breast implants to enhance the size and shape of her breasts. She knew she wanted a significant size increase and to be more “full” but was also very concerned about looking natural. During her one-on-one consultation with Dr. Piazza, they were able to select the best implant that would deliver the results she had in mind. The examination was followed by more discussion in Dr. Piazza’s consultation room. She was also able to look at and feel a variety of different implants, and to compare different sizes. Dr. Piazza explained the differences between saline, silicone, round, and anatomical implants. After about an hour in consultation Dr. Piazza felt the “gummy bear” or anatomical shaped implant would compliment her figure and help her achieve the fuller yet natural appearance she was looking for. Dr. Piazza performed her breast augmentation at Stonegate Surgery Center, a fully accredited surgical facility here in Austin.
