April Daniel, APRN, FNP-C
Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner
April began her nursing career in 2003 after graduating with her Bachelors’ degree in Nursing from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX. She spent a few years working as a nurse in the medical ICU, caring for critically ill patients and taking care of adult oncology patients. After treating post-mastectomy oncology patients, she had a deep desire to help these patients feel good about themselves again and regain their confidence. Through this experience, she found a new passion for all things related to skin and beauty. When she and her husband moved to Houston, she worked at a medspa where she was able to fulfill her passion for aesthetics. She began to develop and perfect her skills with injectables and laser treatments. Combining her love of aesthetics and science is a perfect blend of her talents. She and her husband moved back to West Texas after having their first son so they could be closer to family. She worked for a cosmetic dermatologist and continued to hone her craft. She attended graduate school at Texas Tech University and earned her Masters’ degree in Nursing with honors. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and has spent the last 15 years of her career working in aesthetics, dermatology, and plastic surgery. The cumulation of various areas of practice have helped shape her into the provider that she is today. She and her husband, along with their two sons, now reside in Dripping Springs. You can usually find her cheering on one of their sons’ many sporting events, rooting for the Red Raiders, hiking Pedernales Falls or Barton Creek, or just hanging out with friends and family. She is so excited to be a part of the team at The Piazza Center and looks forward to gaining trust as your provider.

Heather received training as an assistant from the Meridian Institute for Surgical Assistants in conjunction with Vanderbilt College. She was licensed by the State of Texas Medical Examiners in 2011 and certified by the National Board of Surgical Technologists and Surgical Assistance in 2007. She is also a member of the Association of Surgical Assistants, as well as the Association of Surgical Technologists. Heather is currently working toward her Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification, which will further validate the specialized knowledge and skills she regularly uses as an operating room nurse.
