Case Details
This 44-year-old female came to Dr. Piazza at his office location in southwest Austin, Texas to discuss revision breast augmentation surgery. She had and breast augmentation over 10 years ago with saline breast implants through an inframammary incision. She noticed that her right breast was getting smaller due to a ruptured saline breast implant. She wanted to remove her breast implants and change them to silicone gel implants so correct her asymmetry. She also wanted breast enhancement to increase the size of her breasts. She was referred to Dr. Piazza by another patient. Dr. Piazza and his nurse, Hayley, spent about an hour with her during her appointment. Dr. Piazza explained the safety of silicone gel implants and recommended the use of her previous breast incision so that no new scars on the breast would be made. Using special silicone gel sizers, she chose to increase the size of her breasts to give a more full appearance of her breasts. Her breast enhancement surgery was done in an ambulatory surgical setting in Southwest Austin, Texas.
