Case Details
This 35-year-old patient visited us to learn more about getting a tummy tuck at our Austin practice. As a mother of 2, she experienced many changes to her body during and after her pregnancies. She had stretch marks and excess skin on her abdomen. Despite dieting and regular exercising, she was unable to restore her pre-baby body. She started thinking about plastic surgery. She talked with friends who had undergone a variety of procedures and did some research on the Internet, where she came upon The Piazza Center's website. She contacted Kristin, Dr. Piazza's care coordinator, who spoke to her at length to understand her goals with and explain different body contouring procedures. She came to see Dr. Piazza for a consultation and decided that he was the right surgeon for her. Dr. Piazza agreed that a tummy tuck procedure would help improve the contour of her abdomen. He was able to give this mother back her pre-baby body and restore her confidence. She is now looking forward to summer and enjoying pool outings with her children and husband.
