At a Glance

What we compared: INVO Rejuvenating Complex, Elevai Enfinity, the AnteAGE MD Biosome System and Exoceuticals EXO PLUS

What we judged: Stated vesicle source, disclosed concentration, price per mL, supporting actives

The number most brands skip: Exosome count — only one of the four daily products publishes one

Regulatory reality: There are no FDA-approved exosome products; these are cosmetics

What we use daily: INVO Rejuvenating Complex, AM and PM, before moisturiser

Why This Matters: Exosome serums cost close to $300 a bottle, and the labels are hard to compare because brands disclose different things. Putting the disclosures side by side shows what you are actually paying for, and where each product fits. Individual results vary.

Every few weeks a patient brings me a screenshot of a different exosome serum and asks whether it is the one. Usually the answer is: it might be fine, but the label does not tell us enough to know.

So we did what we do before anything goes on our shelf. We looked at what each brand actually states about where its vesicles come from, how many there are, what else is in the bottle and what it costs per millilitre. This is that comparison, written as fairly as I can, including for the products we do not sell.

Key Takeaways

  • Of the four daily products here, INVO is the only one that publishes an exosome count for the bottle you buy: more than 1.2 trillion per 30 mL.
  • Elevai Enfinity is the closest like-for-like competitor: a 30 mL daily serum with vitamin C and peptides, from a single umbilical cord source.
  • AnteAGE and EXO PLUS are good products that do different jobs: a two-step system, and a moisturising cream.

What Is the Best Exosome Serum in 2026?

For a daily exosome serum, we use INVO Rejuvenating Complex. Of the products compared here, it is the only one that publishes an exosome count for the retail bottle (INVO states 1.2+ trillion per 30 mL), and it builds vitamin C and peptides into the same step, at about $9.50 per mL. Elevai Enfinity is a credible alternative with a richer list of supporting actives but no published count.

“Best” depends on what you need. Below is how the four compare, and who each one suits.

The Comparison

Product Vesicle source, as the brand states it Disclosed concentration Size / price per mL Extras Where it fits
INVO Rejuvenating Complex INVO states fibroblast, umbilical cord and bone marrow 1.2+ trillion exosomes per 30 mL; 1,200+ growth factors, proteins and peptides 30 mL, $285 (about $9.50/mL) Oil-soluble vitamin C, peptide complex, niacinamide Daily AM + PM serum; right after microneedling
Elevai Enfinity Human umbilical mesenchymal stem cell conditioned media (“Cell Zero Exosomes”) Not published 30 mL, $299 (about $9.97/mL) Four forms of vitamin C, eight peptides, glutathione, ceramides, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid Daily serum; Elevai makes a separate post-procedure product (Empower)
AnteAGE MD Biosome System Human bone marrow stem cell conditioned media, plus “Biosomes”, which AnteAGE describes as a synthetic analog of exosomes Not published for the system Two-step kit, $324; mL not published Accelerator: vitamin C, bakuchiol, ceramide; Serum: peptides, niacinamide, caffeine Physician-dispensed two-step daily routine
Exoceuticals EXO PLUS Human adipose stromal cell exosomes (eXo3), per ingredient list Not published 50 mL, $195 (about $3.90/mL) Hyaluronic acid, retinyl palmitate, vitamins A, C, D3 and E A cream, not a serum: the moisturiser step

Sources and disclosures are each brand’s own, as published on INVO, Elevai, AnteAGE and EXO PLUS product pages. Prices as listed on October 21, 2026. We have not independently verified any manufacturer count.

INVO Rejuvenating Complex

INVO states its serum contains more than 1.2 trillion exosomes and over 1,200 growth factors, proteins and peptides, delivered through what it calls BioBlend Technology. INVO states its exosomes come from three sources: fibroblast, umbilical cord and bone marrow. The vitamin C is an oil-soluble, stable form, and there is a peptide complex and niacinamide in the same bottle. INVO is explicit that there are no living cells in the product. Dr. Melanie Palm, a board-certified dermatologist in Solana Beach, sits on INVO’s medical advisory board.

Where it fits: one daily step, morning and evening, that covers exosomes and vitamin C together. It is gentle enough for us to use right after microneedling.

INVO Rejuvenating Complex benefits for fine lines and uneven pigmentation
What INVO positions the serum for: fine lines, tone and pigmentation. Give it eight weeks.

Elevai Enfinity

Elevai says its exosomes are derived from human umbilical mesenchymal stem cell conditioned media, branded “Cell Zero Exosomes”, and that the product is shelf-stable without refrigeration. (Elevai) The supporting formula is generous: four forms of vitamin C, eight peptides including copper tripeptide, glutathione, a three-ceramide system and niacinamide. (Elevai Enfinity)

Where it fits: a daily serum for someone who wants barrier support built in. Elevai does not publish an exosome count, and it relies on a single source type. It is a serious product; it just tells you less about the exosomes themselves.

AnteAGE MD Biosome System

AnteAGE is one of the longer-standing names in this category, sold through physicians. Its daily Biosome System is two steps, a Serum and an Accelerator. Both list human bone marrow stem cell conditioned media, and AnteAGE adds “Biosomes”, which it describes as a synthetic analog of human-derived exosomes. (PMFA Journal) No concentration is published for the system. (AnteAGE)

AnteAGE also sells a separate product, the AnteAGE MD Exosome Solution, which it advertises at 10 billion exosomes per vial from bone marrow and umbilical cord sources. (AnteAGE) That is a vial product, not the daily system, so the two numbers should not be mixed up.

Where it fits: patients who like a two-step routine and a bone-marrow-based growth factor approach.

Exoceuticals EXO PLUS

EXO PLUS lists human adipose stromal cell exosomes (eXo3) in its ingredients, alongside hyaluronic acid, retinyl palmitate and vitamins A, C, D3 and E. (EXO PLUS) It is a cream, so it is not a direct substitute for a serum.

Where it fits: the moisturiser step, over a serum, or for someone who wants a single exosome product and prefers a cream. At about $3.90 per mL it is the lowest cost per millilitre here. We stock it alongside its eye cream, EXO EYE.

Price per mL

Elevai Enfinity — about $9.97/mL

INVO Rejuvenating Complex — about $9.50/mL

EXO PLUS (cream) — about $3.90/mL

AnteAGE MD Biosome System — $324 kit; mL not published

Calculated from list price and bottle size on each brand’s product page, October 21, 2026: INVO $285 / 30 mL; Elevai $299 / 30 mL; EXO PLUS $195 / 50 mL; AnteAGE $324 per kit.

What a Label Cannot Tell You

A fair comparison has to say this plainly: no exosome product is FDA-approved. (FDA) These are cosmetics, and the counts are each manufacturer’s own. There is also no published study showing that a higher count gives a visibly better result.

The human research is still early. A 2026 scoping review in the Journal of Drugs in Dermatology found 17 human studies of exosomes in dermatology, mostly small, short and non-randomised, though most reported improvement in wrinkles, pigmentation or elasticity. (JDD) Disclosure matters for exactly this reason. When the science is young, I would rather work with a brand that tells me what is in the bottle.

"All four of these companies are making a real effort, and I would not tell a patient to throw any of them out. For a daily serum, I chose INVO because it tells me how many exosomes are in the bottle, it combines vitamin C and peptides in one step, and it is gentle enough to use after microneedling. With a young category, I want to know what I am using." — Dr. Rocco Piazza, MD, FACS

Why INVO Is Our Daily Exosome Serum

We use INVO Rejuvenating Complex (30 mL, $285) for four practical reasons:

  • It publishes a count. INVO states 1.2+ trillion exosomes per bottle. Of the four, it is the only daily product here that does.
  • One step, not two. Vitamin C and a peptide complex are built in, so many patients can drop a separate vitamin C serum.
  • It fits our procedures. We use it right after microneedling, and after laser once the provider clears it.
  • The price is in line. At about $9.50 per mL it is slightly below Elevai Enfinity.

How to use it: morning and evening on clean skin, before moisturiser. At night, apply it before your retinoid. Give it eight weeks. What it cannot do: it will not lift lax skin, replace volume or do the work of a laser. For recovery timing around treatments, see What to Use After Laser, Microneedling or a Peel.

One more thing before you add a $300 bottle to your routine: more is not automatically better. A short routine you keep doing will do more than a long one you abandon.

Exosome Serums: Common Questions

Which exosome serum is the best?

For a daily serum, we use INVO Rejuvenating Complex because it publishes an exosome count and combines vitamin C and peptides in one step. Elevai Enfinity is a reasonable alternative. Individual results vary.

Is INVO or Elevai better?

They are close on price and both include vitamin C and peptides. INVO states a count and three exosome sources; Elevai uses one umbilical cord source and adds ceramides and glutathione, but publishes no count.

How is AnteAGE different from INVO?

The AnteAGE MD Biosome System is a two-step routine built on bone marrow stem cell conditioned media and synthetic “Biosomes”. INVO is a single serum with a published exosome count.

What makes an exosome serum “medical grade”?

There is no legal definition. It usually means the product is sold through physicians. A more useful test is what the brand discloses: source, count and supporting ingredients.

Are exosome serums FDA-approved?

No. The FDA states there are no FDA-approved exosome products. Topical exosome serums are sold as cosmetics.

Does a higher exosome count mean better results?

Not necessarily. No published study links a higher count in a cosmetic serum to a visibly better result. A published count is useful mainly because it shows the brand is willing to disclose.

How long does an exosome serum take to work?

Use it twice daily for about eight weeks before judging. Changes in texture and tone tend to be gradual, and individual results vary.

Individual results vary. The products discussed are cosmetic products and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. No exosome product is FDA-approved.
