This is a 32-year old female with strong family history of breast cancer. She has seen the destruction of breast cancer with multiple close family members and went forward with genetic testing. She was diagnosed BRCA positive which meant her chances of developing breast cancer was significant. At that point she made the decision to be proactive and go forward with a prophylactic prepectoral breast reconstruction procedure. She is comforted with the fact of knowing her chances of developing breast cancer is almost non-existent and is ecstatic with the appearance of her aesthetic outcome.
