Prepectoral Breast Reconstruction Before & After Pictures of Patient 95Back
This very fit 48-year-old lady came to see Dr. Piazza for breast reconstruction in Austin. She made the decision to undergo bilateral mastectomies because of a strong family history of breast cancer. Dr. Piazza explained the various reconstructive options. Based on her lifestyle, she chose breast implant reconstruction. In Austin, many women are faced with a similar decision making process. Oftentimes, women choose reconstruction with breast implants to simplify their reconstructive process. This patient was fortunate to have nipple sparing mastectomies. She did undergo placement of tissue expanders and she is seen here after removal of her tissue expanders, placement of silicone gel implants, fat transfer to the upper breasts and AlloDerm for upper pole support. She has had two surgical procedures. She is back to her active lifestyle, playing tennis on a regular basis.
