Tummy Tuck Before & After Pictures of Patient 76Back Next Case Previous Case
Massive weight loss patient seeks an ABPS Board Certified Austin plastic surgeon. This 48-year-old female came to see Dr. Piazza for a tummy tuck. In Austin, she has become highly active with her fitness activity and through disciplined diet and exercise she lost nearly 115 lbs. Her biggest concern with surgery to remove the excess skin of the abdomen was her downtime from her workout regimen. She also was concerned with making sure that she did not have a roll of tummy skin over her pants when she sat down. Dr. Piazza explained that he allows his patients (even after a tummy tuck) to return to the gym as soon as they feel ready. He prefers that tummy tuck patients don’t lift over 10 lbs for the 6 weeks following surgery and that they refrain from crunches for that time period as well. With regards to her “roll of skin,” as she calls it, Dr. Piazza is safely aggressive with tightening up the abdomen and removing excess skin. She is depicted here 3 months after her procedure. She has been back into her regular workout regimen for some time now and is excited about the figure that she has worked so hard to achieve!
