Prepectoral Breast Reconstruction Before & After Pictures of Patient 52Back
This is a 50-year-old female who was interested in undergoing breast reconstruction following a previous left breast mastectomy approximately 6 months prior. When she came to visit Dr. Piazza at his Austin plastic surgery office she was anxious to quit stuffing her bra with a prosthesis and obtain symmetry. After a long road of recovery following her mastectomy and chemotherapy treatment she was ready to regain her confidence, restore symmetry, and embark on a new chapter of life.
Dr. Piazza spent an hour explaining the variations of breast reconstruction techniques offered in Austin. She desired to create a left breast and to have a lift and augmentation of her right breast. She also wanted to have a left nipple and areola reconstructed. This was performed in staged approach over several months. She has done remarkably well and is looking for her second annual appearance as a model in Art Bra Austin! We look forward to seeing her!
