This 54-year-old breast cancer patient desired breast implant reconstruction in Austin after undergoing bilateral nipple-sparing mastectomies. Dr. Piazza worked closely with her breast cancer surgeon to perform a two-stage implant reconstruction using the bioengineered breast reconstruction technique. She is seen here after undergoing her second procedure where Dr. Piazza used shaped gummy-bear implant, fat grating and ADM to reconstruct her breasts. She is excited about her results and already back to playing golf just 6 weeks after her second and final surgical procedure. Total reconstruction time including her mastectomies was 3 months.
