Dr. Rocco Piazza's commitment to the community goes beyond providing cosmetic plastic surgery to Austin residents. Dr. Piazza was raised in this community, and he's committed to helping it thrive. Dr. Piazza and our staff frequently give their health and beauty skills, as well as their personal talents, to give back to the area that has given so much to them. Take a look at just of few of the community outreach events we've participated in lately.
At The Piazza Center, we believe that beautiful surgical results are enhanced by leading a healthy lifestyle. Our aim is to help you achieve your cosmetic goals and desires. If you like what you see and are ready to meet with our team in person, you can request a consultation online, or call our office at (512) 551-1067.
On April 21, 2016, plastic surgeon, Rocco Piazza, M.D., of The Piazza Center, presented a check for $6,000 to the Breast Cancer Resource Centers (BCRC) of Texas. The funds were raised during his fundraising event, Cocktails & Curiosity. Pictured, left to right, are Phyllis Rose (Director of Volunteer Services, BCRC), Rocco Piazza, M.D., F.A.C.S. Dr. Piazza was honored to serve on the panel of judges for the Miss Austin Texas Pageant for 2014. The winner was Melissa Novak, and the Miss Teen Austin crown went to Savy Escobar. Dr. Piazza was thrilled to be a part of this fun event celebrating the inner and outer beauty of these hard-working young women.
Dr. Piazza commissioned the creation of a beautiful glass-beaded bra that was auctioned off at a charity event to benefit the Breast Cancer Resource Centers of Texas. This bra titled "Texas Brave" was created out of love to honor the brave women who choose us as their partners during their reconstructive process. One of our past patients, Jana, modeled the beautiful creation in the Art Bra runway event at the Austin Music Hall.
Also in support of the Breast Cancer Resource Centers of Texas, our staff participated in the organization's first Locally Pink fundraising campaign. We decked ourselves and our office out in pink, and generated more than $2500 in donations for the cause.
In 2013, The Piazza Center staff participated in a fun and grueling workout event through Barbells for Boobs, a nonprofit that helps fund breast cancer detection services for those in our community who don't qualify for assistance elsewhere. You won't find many plastic surgeons in Austin who are as dedicated to health and fitness as Dr. Piazza, so this was right up his alley. The Combine, a CrossFit center in Austin helped whip the participants into shape and whip up some donations for patients in need.
